The pianist, composer, and singer Clara h. k. (* 1989 in Unna) lives in Berlin. In the years 1998 to 2006, she won several times at the competitions "Jugend jazzt" and "Jugend musiziert" at the country level.
From 2006 to 2009, she was a member of the Landesjugendjazzorchester NRW. Toured it with the Big Band to Southeast Asia, Malta, Israel and Estonia. Later she was the pianist in the switched (Bujazzo).
From 2009 to 2013, she studied piano at the jazz Institute Berlin (Hanns Eisler/UdK) at Hubert nut, Wolfgang Köhler, Susanne Grützmann, David Friedman, Greg Cohen and John Hollenbeck. Parallel to the studies she took further lessons in singing and composition. In October 2014, it has begun her master's degree in composition at the Wolf Kerschek HfMT Hamburg. Within the framework of cooperation between the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and the NDR will take on 2016 their compositions Big Band with the NDR.
She won the 2011 "Jazz Baltica Prize" with her own trio. Her solo LP "One Hundred Dreams" on the label "Edition lane play" on vinyl was released in may 2012. The debut album of Clara h k followed by trios "not red, not white, not blue".
2013 Haber Kamp went with actor and singer Gustav Peter Wöhler and his German-speaking program "About me" on tour. The eponymous album was released in the spring of 2013 on the label Kurt music.
Since 2012 plays and touring it with the songwriter and artist Susanne "the Popette" Betancor.
The second album of Clara h. k. trio "You Sea!" will appear on March 20, 2015 on the label LAIKA of records.
