Obviously, kudos to the song selection. The standards are varied to the point that it almost feels like a good mixed CD and the range of tunes is great. Her voice is really rich. Dark and smooth and there's a perfect restrain on overt vocal acrobatics. The band is good. Fareed is in touch with the stories of the songs as is evident in tunes like Slowpoke and Slumbertime.
