Horne's RCA contract ran out in 1962...most of the record buying public just wouldn't warm to her...her last LP in the RCA contract finished her run in a blaze of glory.  On LENA...LOVELY & ALIVE (arranger) Marty Paich brought out the swing in Horne that Lennie Hayton never had; no wonder the gloss of his arrangements now felt smothering to her.
