The saxophonist and flutist Kaori Kobayashi is one of the most active and prolific artists of the music scene Smooth Jazz in Japan. Since launching his first work in 2005, he has been releasing one album a year, highlighting titles such as Glow (2007), Precious (2011) and Spirit (2014). Melody is their new album, entirely of versions on well-known artists like Eric Clapton, Hall & Oates, Boz Scaggs or Chicago. One of the best moments of the album is Runaway , a 1978 issue of The Salsoul Orchestra, which years later was versioned by Kenny Gonzalez and Louie Vega in their Nuyorican Soul project. Kaori Kobayashi recreates it with his sax and his flute. We release the new album released recently by Japanese saxophonist Kaori Kobayashi , along with new releases by artists such as Reza Khan, Kay-Ta, Ashleigh Smith, Bob Baldwin and Till Brönner. In the souvenir block, music recorded live by the Japanese Jun Fukamachi surrounded by great and well-known artists. http://www.cloud-jazz.com/kaori-kobayashi-melody
