Georgie Auld was an accomplished saxophonist, who cut his musical teeth with Bunny Berigan's band in 1937 then moving on to The Artie Shaw Orchestra in 1939, he also served with Jan Savitt & The Benny Goodman sextet. Musicians in the Georgie Auld orchestra & on this disc include Maynard Ferguson, Skeets Herfurt, Frank Rosolino, Si Zentner & Barney Kessel to name a few.
