All For You
I am confused. This does not sound like Jane Harvey.
ReplyDeleteHey Kiken, Look for https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/all-of-you/id519176680.
DeleteThanks for your reply. All I am suggesting is that Jane has a 'unique' quality of voice and the voice on this CD does not resemble to that at all. Are there two Jane Harvey? I have tried to google about this recording, but could not find any so far.
ReplyDeleteKiken, I think Jazzman77 right. Can only be that!
DeleteThank you!
Thank you so much Giullia G. I love this album. With reference to Kiken's remarks, I think that this is a modern day Jane Harvey, Adele wrote Make You Feel My Love circa 2008 and this Jane Harvey would have been 83 years old at that time, which I think solves the riddle.
ReplyDeleteThank You always Jazzman77!
DeleteI asked about this Jane and someone who knew Jane Harvey responded;
ReplyDeleteThis is another much younger singer by the name of Jane Harvey who didn't have -- take your pick -- the respect, awareness, good sense, proper judgement, good management -- or all five -- not to use, for her professional moniker, that of a long-established singer with same name. Couldn't have done either of them any good. The "real" Jane Harvey is dead now, so maybe it doesn't matter so much.
Kiken, Thank you for your explanations!
